I started collecting LaserDiscs in 2010, after my wife bought my a player and a handful of classics (The Princess Bride!) to get me started. Active collecting stopped around 2013 or so, after I’d pretty much gotten all of my favourite 80s & 90s movies (plus a few oddities for fun) and sort of ran out of space for more.
There’s a fine line between collecting and hoarding, I think.
